What is Slackwax?
Product Description: It is the raw material of paraffin wax. It is a mixture of oil and wax in yellow or brown color. It is processed by pressing to reduce the oil content and changes color with special powders after heating to produce paraffin wax.
Areas Of Use: Slackwax is used in emulsions, construction boards, matches, candles, rust protective products and moisture vapor barriers, polishes, inks, carbon paper, and can be applied externally as fine dust suppressors or controlled release agents for various chemicals and fertilizers.
At light Decoctions, the melting point is 50-52 °C, where at heavy degrees, the melting point is 53-55 °C, and the oil content varies from 5.0% to 35%.
