What is Beeswax?

Product Description: Beeswax is a natural beeswax produced by honey bees of the genus Apis.Its color varies from almost white to brown, but most often it is a yellow shade, depending on the purity, the region and the type of flowers collected by bees.

Areas Of Use: Wax has been used since prehistory as the first plastic, as a lubricant and waterproofing agent, in the lost wax casting of metals and glass, as a wood and leather polish, in candle making, as a component in cosmetics and as an artistic medium.

Beeswax is edible, has negligible toxicity, similar to plant candles, and is approved for food use in most countries and in the European Union under the E number E901.
